Description The IT Systems Manager works under limited supervision and is responsible for the ongoing support and resolution of technical issues and overall health and wellness of all IT systems. Job Responsibilities Provides direct technical support to company staff on installations, usage, and maintenance of company IT solutions. Responsible for and provides leadership to IT operations. Responds to end user inquiries concerning system software and applications. Responsible for unsolved or complex networking design issues. Ensures safety and recovery of all corporate data. Follows end user issues through to completion to ensure resolution and end user satisfaction has been achieved. Assist in creating technical documents and training material. Provides work direction, problem resolution, and training to other technical resources both internal and external to the organization. Participates in off-site travel to plant locations and other required facilities. Lead in company work groups who plan direction of the Information Technology strategy, work processes and procedures Lead customer and company focus groups Additional responsibilities as required Essential Functions/Job Skill Requirements Excellent verbal and communication skills Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to deal calmly, positively, and professionally in tense or elevated situations. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, obtain results, and provide solutions for a broad range of technical problems. Responsible; able to manage time effectively and work efficiently, both with or without direct supervision. Complete knowledge of company products, systems, applications and current operating systems. 8 + years related experience, with at least 5 years in understanding of networking systems and/or applications.
