REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this IT Teacher position, candidates must have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in IT, Computing, and related technologies
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
  • A passion for digital education and inspiring young people
  • An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of several forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in Central Liverpool, who are seeking dynamic and adaptable IT Teachers to join their schools from September 2025 (or sooner if available).

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach engaging and relevant IT and Computer Science lessons across KS3 & KS4
  • Cover topics including coding, cybersecurity, digital literacy, and data handling
  • Support student progress through assessment, feedback, and personalised learning
  • Encourage responsible and creative use of technology in a safe digital environment
  • Contribute to whole-school digital initiatives and extracurricular activities
