Local manufacturing facility seeking qualified IT Technician to assist with the routine administration of computer and network operations. Must be able to begin work immediately. Only qualified applicants need apply. This position can come with huge career growth potential!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Degree, Certification, or 3+yrs experience required
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand for 12hr shift
• Must be available to work nights
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug test and submit to background checks

• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of all user interface devices
• PC’s, terminals, data collection equipment, wireless devices, printers, etc.
• Quickly repair, replace, or adjust all devices reported inoperative to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance and updates on all equipment
• Responsible for networking, cabling, and system administration
• Act as a resource in corporate and plant projects
• Responsible for the limited oversight of approved IT contractors
• Must work from service desk system from tickets, requests and change orders
• Deploy approved SCCM packages
• Maintain Tape Backups
• Gather client functional requirements
• Network Support
• Data and Disaster Recovery
• Testing with Corporate IT
• Notification of anomalies
• Contribute to and maintain system standards
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Remote Access Management (RSA, Etc.)
• Assist in building site-specific infrastructure documentation for plant
• Management and Maintenance of local security access systems
