SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Information Technology Technical Analysis & Testing Manager oversees people, processes and initiatives as they relate to the Information Technology for South State Bank. Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with business and executive stakeholders to accomplish IT objectives.

Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for assisting the team in the establishment and management of IT Technical Analysis and Testing standards and processes.
Responsible for assisting IT Leadership and Team Members with the analysis, documentation, testing and implementation of technical solutions and best practices.
Directly manages IT Technical Analysts and IT Testers.
Responsible for developing and executing Project and BAU Test Strategies, Timelines and Delivery through Regression Testing and End User Acceptance for both Agile and Waterfall (or blended) projects.
Indirectly manages various SIT application testers for SSB as well as Third Party Vendors.
Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Supports the successful delivery of IT deliverables (Functional Design Documents, Test Plans, Defect Tracking and Reporting, Implementation Plans, et al.
Streamlines communications between SSB business partners and IT team members, and stakeholders.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
