Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clients IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation’s technology infrastructure, providing expert technical support, and maintaining our systems and networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System and Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex system and network problems, software faults, and hardware complications in a timely manner.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and queries efficiently.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on hardware, software, and network components to prevent issues and optimise performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organisation’s data and systems from potential threats.
  • Performance Optimisation: Analyse system and network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions across the organisation.
  • User Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies, software applications, and best practices in IT security.
  • Technology Research: Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in IT to recommend and implement innovative solutions that benefit the organisation.
