IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (3-5 YEARS)

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (On-site, 5 days/week)
Experience Required: 3-5 years
Salary : 55-60K
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of IT technical support experience, preferably in a smaller setting with a close-knit team. The role involves providing support to all employees, from C-level executives to staff at all levels within the company. Ideally, you should have experience in a company with 50 to 200 employees.
Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on IT Technical Support Specialist who can operate independently and coordinate between external MSP/MSSP partners and internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can own all end-user support and workstation functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison between the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and internal team.
  • Coordinate service requests and support activities with the MSP.
  • Manage and follow up with the MSSP on cybersecurity-related issues.
  • Handle the physical setup and configuration of hardware (laptops, desktops, iPads, iPhones).
  • Provide user support to approximately 90 users (60 active workstations).
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers.
  • Oversee user additions/deletions in Active Directory (managed by MSP).
  • Support and eventually lead the migration and management of Microsoft Intune.
  • Possess admin rights and the ability to make system-level changes when required.
  • Sole point of responsibility for workstation functions and device support.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • 2 4 years of relevant IT support experience
  • Strong familiarity with Azure AD concepts (experience with Hybrid Azure environments preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365 (Excel, Word), and general desktop environments.
  • Comfortable supporting both Windows and Apple devices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or interest in owning Intune deployment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and user support skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Patient and personable, with a customer-first mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with project/task management tools like Asana or Trello
  • Exposure to MSP/MSSP-driven IT environments
  • Any certifications in Microsoft technologies or cybersecurity
