AdvanTec Marine is looking for a couple experienced and energetic IT Technician to join our IT department in Chilliwack, BC.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Some formal education in IT or equivalent work experience and education.
• At least 2 years of end-user technical support and troubleshooting experience
• Entry-level knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Office 0365 as well as Office Apps including Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong English skills.
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting network printers.
• Experience working with a help desk ticketing system.
• Working Knowledge on how to image and set up a workstation for an end user.
• Basic cybersecurity awareness.
• Demonstrate exceptional technical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in assisting and supporting people with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
• Treat end-users like customers, always polite and helpful.
• Innate desire to continually learn and improve.

• Provide IT technical expertise and support to both on-premise and remote end-users.
• Assist the IT Administrators with various technology-related initiatives, deployments, upgrades and repairs.
