MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Relevant IT Certifications (i.e. COMPTIA A+, N+, ITF+, MTA)
BSc in Information Technology advantageous
3 + Years in an IT Operational or Systems role
Familiarity with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Installation of Computer Hardware (Switches, cabling, servers)
Installation and maintenance of various software (i.e. MS applications, adobe applications etc.)

Monitoring System performance, uptime and backups integrity
Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and solutions
Installation and configuration of Infrastructure (Servers, Switches, etc.)
Accuracy of server and digital asset register updates
Reduction in lost or untracked IT assets
Timeliness of asset lifecycle documentation
Maintaining accurate IT documentation and diagrams related to Infrastructure
Participation in security audits and compliance checks
Deliver comprehensive technical support and perform the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network devices to ensure system functionality and user satisfaction.
Contributions to technical documentation or rollout plans for new systems
