Providing accessible and affordable healthcare for all, today and every day. CHCA is seeking a full-time IT Technician to join our growing team at our Salida office. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware and software components of the organization's computers. You will also train users of the systems. This work is done remotely from the office or with on-site visits, as needed. Our sites span from Sacramento to Bakersfield and will require up to 40% travel. This is a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to excellence, where attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive attitude are essential for success. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Setup workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc). Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboard, etc) to ensure functionality Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc) Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders Join us and make a difference in the lives of our patients by ensuring they receive the highest level of care.
