JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated IT Technician to join our dynamic team on a gig basis. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and delivering exceptional customer service to our users.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in technical support and troubleshooting for various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Strong knowledge of computer management, networking (LAN), and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with desktop support and customer service in a help desk environment.
  • Familiarity with VPN configurations, firewall management, and software troubleshooting.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office applications effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with users at all levels.

  • Utilize help desk software such as ServiceNow or Jira to track and resolve user requests efficiently.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on IT infrastructure to prevent downtime and enhance system reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and inventory using tools like BMC Remedy.
