Based in our Tacoma office, this role operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional after-hours on-call support. Brief Job Description:
As the IT Technician your primary focus will be delivering remote and onsite help desk support to our customers. In addition, we will teach you about Microsoft 365, Hyper-V and VMware server setups, how VoIP works, and best practices when deploying networking solutions. Cybersecurity will always overlap with everything we do.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools, resolving issues like software glitches and connectivity problems.
  • Assist with onsite hardware and software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in the Tacoma area.
  • Learn to configure and support Microsoft 365 applications, including email and collaboration tools.
  • Support senior technicians in maintaining servers, networks, and VoIP systems, with hands-on training in Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Apply cybersecurity best practices, such as setting up secure passwords and monitoring for threats, under team guidance.
  • Document client interactions and solutions in our ticketing system to ensure seamless support.

Requirements/Strongly Preferred:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional and friendly approach to client interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and general PC hardware/software.
  • Passion for IT and a proactive drive to learn and grow in a technical career.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite client visits (preferred).
