We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our small, dynamic IT team. You will be supporting the entire business with all aspects of IT systems, from hardware and software to networks and security. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across all departments, ensuring technology runs smoothly, problems are resolved quickly, and systems are optimized to meet business needs. Your work will play a vital part in keeping operations efficient, secure, and ready for future growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responding to technical issues raised by users across the business
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems
  • Deploying and configuring laptops, mobile devices, and software
  • Logging faults and managing support tickets with third-party vendors and partners
  • Working independently or as part of the team on IT projects
  • Monitoring IT systems performance and ensuring security best practices are followed
  • Keeping our IT asset database accurate and up to date

What we’re looking for

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find root causes quickly
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and grow with the role
  • Awareness of technology trends and a passion for continuous improvement

It would be great if you also have (desirable, not essential)

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft admin portals
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions like Microsoft Intune
  • Scripting or programming skills
  • Experience with Autodesk products
