KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing data center/server room security features, including HVAC control, environmental alarms, access restrictions, etc. Participation in the selection and development of desktop standards Creating and maintaining network documentation Supporting on-site IT audits as required Translating CRD into full customer hardware installation Installation of new customer hardware according to the CRD Supporting the System Engineer (SE) in executing customer priorities Supporting SE in developing solutions to mitigate performance degradation in server systems Ensuring proper system backups and file restoration Supporting network system upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor patches Incident Support (Responding to server issues through the development and implementation of incident containment processes) KEY QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelor’s or Master’s work or thinking level in Computer Science in the field of computer science or management information systems or a related discipline Ability to apply creativity and critical thinking to technical problems Ability to conduct research into server issues and products as required Strong customer service orientation Technical knowledge (Microsoft Windows Server (Enterprise, 2012R2 and 2016, 2019), WAN/LAN technologies and protocols, Storage technologies, Desktop Applications, Database Technologies, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FEMA) WHAT WE OFFER: Stable employment under an employment contract in an international logistics company Opportunities for professional development LUX MED medical package Option to join a group insurance plan EAP – Employee Assistance Program for employees and their families About DP World Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
