We are recruiting for a IT Technician to provide exceptional 1st and 2nd line IT support across a dynamic educational environment. This hands-on role involves maintaining and supporting IT systems, hardware, and software, ensuring seamless operation in a fast-paced setting.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• GCSEs in English and Maths (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Relevant IT technical qualifications.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, ideally in a similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Azure AD and Intune.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and AV equipment.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering).
• Understanding of ITIL principles or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with managed antivirus systems, Wi-Fi equipment, and network infrastructure.

• Providing 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students via phone, email, or in-person.
• Managing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, including PCs, laptops, printers, and interactive smartboards.
• Assisting with the deployment of new software and hardware solutions.
• Maintaining the IT asset database and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Supporting school events, including AV setup and technical rehearsals.
• Performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal IT system functionality.
• Collaborating with the IT team on projects to introduce and implement new technologies.
• Ensuring adherence to IT and safeguarding policies.
