As an IT Technician, you’ll be the first line of defense when it comes to keeping our technology secure, reliable, and user-friendly. From troubleshooting and upgrades to system security and cloud management, you’ll play a key role in supporting our business and our people every single day.
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Technician with intermediate to advanced technical experience to support our growing team in the Chicagoland area. This hands-on role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong background in infrastructure, systems troubleshooting, and user support. Degrees and certifications are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: One year of support desk experience providing assistance to end users or other IT experience
  • Education/Certifications (a plus): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; A+
  • Skills: Excellent written & verbal communication, strong problem-solving abilities, sharp attention to detail, effective time management, ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal skills
  • We are looking for someone that is flexible with their workload and can demonstrate multitasking in a fast environment. .
  • Bonus Points For: Windows certifications or past project management Preferred (Not Required)
  • Industry certifications such as A+, Linux+, or CCNA
  • Exposure to database programming and support

Responsibilities
  • Mon-Fri support 3:30AM-11:30 – work from home
  • Project work during times when there are no support calls
  • Troubleshooting issues and being the first point of contact when things go sideways.
  • Help desk – helping those with urgent needs and tracking our effectiveness via a robust ticketing system
  • Managing rollout projects with vendors and our customers
  • Upgrading systems so software works seamlessly across all devices.
  • Installing and managing anti-virus software to protect our users.
  • Testing and evaluating new tools, hardware, and software.
  • Building great relationships across teams, from peers to executives.
  • Managing cloud systems (Office 365 / Google Suite).
  • Running daily backups and maintaining reliable technical documentation.
  • Handling firewall and router configurations (basic to intermediate level).
