Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices such as monitors, mice, phone, etc.• Install appropriate software and functions according to specifications.• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate computer equipment.• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting others’ work.• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems, including repairing or replacing parts and debugging. Escalates problems of unusual complexity to senior level personnel for assistance.• Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.• Performs network virus scanning as directed.• Communicates system/technical concerns to senior IT staff. Qualifications What You Will Bring: • Diploma in a field related to computers, Bachelor's degree preferred.• Minimum 2 yrs exp in techincal support.• Basic knowledge of computer systems and prevailing office software required. Some experience in computer support or customer service required. • Strong technical communication and client-facing skills. • Availability for after-hours emergency support and scheduled maintenance. • Excellent communication and coordination skills.• Willingness to work in evening hours to facilitate communication with teams in the USA.
