QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in IT Technician support role.
  • Experience with desktop tools, diagnostic software, and IT management tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knowledge of network setup and troubleshooting (routers, switches, wireless access points).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and providing effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for providing clear, user-friendly support.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve network hardware, software, and connectivity problems for users on-site.
  • Install and configure network devices (routers, switches) and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Set up and configure new IT equipment (computers, servers, etc.) on-site.
  • Offer hands-on support and training to end-users for IT systems and software usage.
  • Set up security features like firewalls, antivirus, and encryption on-site.
  • Track and manage IT equipment and ensure proper maintenance at the location.
  • Maintain positive client relationships by addressing concerns and providing reliable service on-site.
  • Respond to on-site emergencies like system failures or network outages and resolve them immediately.
