JOB OVERVIEW

To provide 1st and 2nd Level IT Technical Support and assistance to end users based at Grangemouth Sites. Managing Support tickets following ITIL processes and following GMP guidelines and procedures. Supporting Grangemouth Teams, Group IT Team, Security Teams and vendors/suppliers with implementations of new lab systems and new technologies required to meet business needs. Establishing complete and accurate documentation for all IT Systems, operating parameters, and support processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Educated to degree level in an IT discipline or equivalent, related intermediate-level certification(s) in the work field. Example, Microsoft Certifications, ITIL, CCNA
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line support role. Active Directory, Microsoft O365, SCCM, Windows Operating Systems including servers. Excellent broad understanding of current and new IT concepts, technologies, networking and security trends. A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, customer focused with high attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide IT Technical 1st and 2nd Level Support on-site to all Grangemouth employees. Ensure employees are kept updated with the status of their fault and speedy resolution.
  • Follow ITIL best practice using Piramal Helpdesk System.
  • Supporting stakeholders with new Lab systems and new technologies required to meet business needs.
  • Follow compliance regulations pertinent to the systems that hold and process our data.
  • Support with IT Projects and Piramal IT Roadmap plans
  • Support and maintain IT Hardware, Software and documentation as required.
  • IT Housekeeping e.g. Daily System Checks, Backups, Restores, Security Compliance Initiatives
  • To carry out ad-hoc responsibilities as requested
