THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT technician for our highly automated, state of the art mechanised XXL warehouse in Bleiswijk (14 soccer fields!!) to join our warehouse IT team. With your technical support the IT in the warehouse functions smoothly. The team in Bleiswijk monitors and maintains all computer hardware, software & networks on site.
The IT team consists of 3 Technicians, 2 Engineers and a Manager. To provide the site with the most suitable support the work and availability shifts of the team align with the warehousing operations. At the moment this is a 2 shift model on Monday - Friday and a rotating on-call duty scheme during the nights and weekends.

As an IT Technician at Zalando, you:

• Are the first point of contact for any IT related issues for the approximately 500 desks and workstations in the warehouse and offices. You are providing 1st and 2nd level support for workplace systems (Windows, Apple & Linux);
• Assist in using standard software (Google Workspace)
• Install IT Equipment and perform maintenance on all workstations;
• Are troubleshooting, building, upgrading and monitoring the IT network infrastructure (switches, access points, routers, computers, scanners, printers);
• Troubleshoot and perform fault analysis in office automation, operational equipment and WAN/LAN network;
• Are actively involved in new developments and projects with a relation to IT.
