Position is a contract - permanent.
This is a role as an Information Technology Technician at Techfeens. The role is for Cape Town only, with flexibility for some remote work. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing efficient technical support, maintenance, and installations of servers, firewalls, networks, backups, PCs, Macs, Printers, VoIP, Cyber Security, Cloud, digital display, CCTV systems, reporting, monitoring, etc.
We need a well-rounded technical person with good interpersonal and administrative skills.
The ideal candidate is customer-centric, self-driven, takes initiative, has exceptional time management skills, and can work at a high pace and under pressure. They should also be able to prioritize their workload, be interested in advancing their technical skills, and grow alongside the business.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting (At least 2-3 Years and more, please)
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity, computer hardware, software, networks, VoIP, Cloud, Servers, Windows, Linux, etc.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of data security and backup procedures
• Experience with remote support and monitoring tools
• Excellent reporting and IT administration skills.
• Must have a driver’s License
• Prefer that you are mobile and have your own transport.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R75,00 - R120,00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
