Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Technician Responsibilities Gaming Systems & Performance • Build, modify, upgrade, and repair high-end gaming PCs • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to performance, thermal management, power delivery, and compatibility • Optimize custom gaming systems for stability, efficiency, and peak performance • Perform routine maintenance including deep cleaning, thermal re-pasting, benchmark testing, and BIOS/firmware updates Gaming Software & Troubleshooting • Troubleshoot game crashes, FPS drops, latency issues, and compatibility errors • Optimize system and in-game settings for smooth, stable gameplay • Manage graphics drivers, game files, launchers, patches, and updates Networking & Low-Latency Optimization • Configure and troubleshoot gaming routers, switches, and wireless access points • Optimize networks for low latency, high throughput, and stable online gaming • Configure QoS, resolve connectivity issues, and tune wireless performance • Plan Wi-Fi coverage and manage wireless mesh networks Servers, NAS & Media Systems • Manage and monitor NAS servers (disk health, storage optimization, failure prevention) • Perform firmware updates on routers, switches, servers, and NAS devices • Maintain and optimize Plex Media Server (performance, libraries, user access, streaming quality) • Troubleshoot server, storage, and media delivery issues Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with high-end gaming PC hardware • Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking • Solid understanding of networking principles, Wi-Fi optimization, and QoS • Experience managing NAS, servers, and media platforms • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Server environments • Knowledge of VPNs, security best practices, and firmware management Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting competitive or professional gaming environments

Responsibilities

The IT Technician will build, modify, upgrade, and repair high-end gaming PCs while diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues. Additionally, they will manage networking configurations and optimize systems for stable online gaming.
