"The primary function of the ‘IT & Telecoms Category Manager - North America' is to partner with our Corporate IT stakeholders to support the delivery of strategic objectives from both an SCM and Business perspective. This role is central to how we deliver innovation, operational resilience, and value through our IT supply base as part of the Global Indirect function. This role will help to support IT stakeholders across various areas - specifically in relation to; Software (Saas and On-Prem) Cloud Infrastructure IT Service Delivery Hardware Analyse IT Sourcing data, identifies trends, and prepares reports to support decision-making and improve procurement processes. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or category management, with a strong focus on IT. "* Deep knowledge of the IT & Telecoms spend category Excellent SCM sourcing and supplier management process and deployment knowledge Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to influence a large and diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, engineers, operations, finance and supply chain management personnel. Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks globally "* Ability and willingness to objectively tackle complex high-level operational challenges using a practical combination of traditional and innovative methods. Strategic (macro) perspective when analyzing trends or planning for the future. Professional presence with the confidence and leadership ability to convey need and vision at all levels. Strong collaborative bias towards recognizing and assembling the right team to accomplish objectives.
