We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and care to children with behavioral challenges, ensuring they receive the best possible guidance and intervention. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in pediatric settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our patients through effective behavior management strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children in clinical or educational settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care practices is advantageous.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.
• Previous hospital experience or involvement in research related to pediatric care is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients, families, and team members.

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Provide direct support to children in various settings, including clinics and schools, focusing on improving social skills and reducing challenging behaviors.
• Collect and analyze data on patient progress, ensuring accurate documentation of behavioral changes and interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and case managers, to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients, promoting positive interactions and engagement.
• Assist in training and educating families about behavior management techniques to reinforce skills learned during sessions.
