JOB SUMMARY:

A client is seeking an experienced IT Trainer to deliver training on both custom-developed and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications. This role involves frequent in-person travel across district offices in Georgia and remote instruction via Microsoft Teams.

The trainer will be responsible for:

  • Leading engaging IT training sessions for adult learners (in-person and online)
  • Developing and updating role-based training content (PowerPoint, manuals, videos, CBTs)
  • Administering learning activities and training records within a Learning Management System (Oracle/Workday)
  • Collaborating with departments to assess training needs and improve course offerings
  • Supporting application rollouts and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Managing user feedback, surveys, and follow-up communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT training, technical support, or instructional design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and learning management systems
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the state of Georgia
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, or Articulate Storyline is highly desired
