JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Trainer to deliver high-quality training to internal teams, partners, and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT systems and applications, a passion for teaching, and preferably hold the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). This role involves both instructional delivery and content development across a range of technologies, with a focus on Microsoft courses and other relevant IT courses.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Instructor, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software, productivity tools, and IT systems.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), and other vendor certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with e-learning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual classroom training on Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot, SharePoint) and other IT systems as required.
  • Work closely with key vendors to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide quality and technically relevant instruction, assessment, and feedback in both lecture and hands-on lab environments.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive course syllabus, ensuring all learning objectives are clearly defined and met.
  • Design, update, and maintain all instructional course materials, including manuals, presentations, and training content.
  • Utilize modern training technologies such as video conferencing, distance learning platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to excel in both training delivery and IT consulting.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and adult learning.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
