HOW YOU CAN MAKE YOUR MARK

As an IT training developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs and materials that enable our employees to enhance their IT skills and knowledge. You will work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging and effective training content for various IT-related topics. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, instructional design skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality training experiences.
As an IT training developer you are keen to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in IT to continuously enhance training programs and materials. You easily collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers, to coordinate training initiatives and ensure timely delivery. You will also assist in the delivery of training programs, including conducting instructor-led training sessions, facilitating virtual workshops, and will provide technical support to learners.
You have experience with monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and making recommendations for improvements.

YOUR QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE

You can move ahead as an IT training developer if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Training Developer or similar role, designing and developing technical training materials.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and interactive training content using multimedia software, and learning management systems.
  • Solid knowledge of IT concepts, technologies, and applications, including but not limited to programming languages, operating systems, networking, databases, and cybersecurity.
  • Relevant certifications in instructional design, e-learning development, or IT training are a plus.
  • Experience with systems as Infor LN, Yellowstar and Basware are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop IT training programs and materials, including instructor-led training, job aids, and reference guides.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and understand the target audience’s learning needs and objectives.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyse training requirements to identify knowledge gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Create engaging and interactive training content using instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Select and utilize appropriate training delivery methods, such as classroom training, virtual training, and blended learning approaches.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, simulations, and hands-on activities into training materials to enhance learner engagement and retention.
  • Validate existing training material and ensure materials are kept accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices and company standards.
  • Test and validate training content to ensure its effectiveness and adjust as necessary based on feedback and evaluation results.
