About the Role
The IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) at Galderma is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. As part of a team focused on managing key IT vendors, this role will have a primary focus on Software License Management (SLM), including ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and strategic alignment. You will also contribute to maintaining high standards in IT vendor management practices and driving governance activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • License Management: Analyze software entitlement and deployment data, evaluate licensing options, and develop strategies for efficient utilization and compliance.
  • Collaboration with External SAM Provider: Govern the external SAM service provider, coordinate reviews of software agreements, and provide expert advice on licensing strategies.
  • The following activities take place across both, Software and IT Services Vendors:
  • IT Vendor and Contract Management: Represent IT in vendor negotiations, facilitate contract reviews, and support the resolution of contractual issues.
  • Governance and Framework Development: Contribute to the IT Vendor Management Framework, mature the vendor governance model, and collaborate with Finance on invoicing and consumption metrics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, management, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Analytical thinking.
  • Strong Asset Management experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Expertise in software license management and various licensing models (perpetual, subscription, cloud, on-premise), with experience in SaaS solutions such as Veeva, Salesforce, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft, Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple licensing agreements and projects.

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, ServiceNow, Snow License Manager).
  • Certifications in SAM or IT asset management (e.g., CSAM, ITIL, ISO 19770) are preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
