Job Title: IT Vendor Sourcing Specialist IV

Our client is seeking an IT Vendor Sourcing Specialist IV to join their team. As a Sourcing Specialist IV, you will be part of the Procurement/Supply Chain department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional negotiation abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Oversee Technology and Information Services (TIS) support by translating category goals into strategies that align with both short- and long-term objectives.
• Develop, implement, and manage TIS category strategies that mitigate risk and deliver competitive advantage.
• Accountable for ongoing supplier relationship management (SRM) for priority agreements with TIS suppliers.
• Manage cross-functional teams to build comprehensive category strategies utilizing market intelligence and demand management.
• Negotiate and execute sourcing strategies from proposal development to contract execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible sourcing experience in the TIS category.
• Superior communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience negotiating large Software, Hardware, and TIS service agreements.
• Ability to monitor and manage supplier relationships and performance with minimal supervision.
