IT & WEBSITE ASSISTANT

We are a friendly family run business with an extremely busy workload, and we are looking for a team member to join us in our IT department on a full-time basis.
As IT and Website assistant you will be responsible for adding product ranges to our website on e-commerce platform Magento 2, the upkeep of the website, search engine optimisation (SEO), social media content creation & planning, and assisting the website manager with day to day tasks.

• Assisting in our migration to a new website (on Magento 2 platform); this will involve adding product ranges, writing descriptions, and ensuring high quality, up to date SEO
• General ongoing website maintenance; adding products ranges and writing high quality descriptions
• Creating product CSV spreadsheets on Excel and importing them to Magento 2
• Updating prices on our website via CSV or admin backend – ensuring no missing products and no discontinued lines online
• Creating graphic content for the website, social media and in-store
• Planning weekly/monthly content for our social media channels
• Helping to maintain our social media channels and engage with customers
• Driving traffic to company pages
• Monitoring Google Analytics and Website Engagement
• Researching competitors’ digital marketing strategies and identifying areas of opportunity
• Identifying new keywords for blog posts, product descriptions and marketing campaigns to increase organic traffic
• Ongoing SEO to enhance visibility and ranking, optimising website for search engines
• Photography editing and uploading – enhancing product photography for website, maintaining a consistent visual presentation, and uploading used guns to the website each week to support the sales of used inventory
• Collaborating with the team to design packaging for upcoming product projects, ensuring the designs align with brand guidelines and product requirements.
• Assisting with any additional responsibilities as assigned by IT staff.
