La Fontana is Leicester’s home for authentic Italian dining — serving handcrafted dishes, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a passionate Italian Chef to join our team and bring the true flavors of Italy to our guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Italian Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Italian recipes, techniques, and ingredients.
• Creativity and passion for authentic Italian food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy kitchen.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Italian dishes (pasta, risotto, pizza, and more).
• Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Help design and develop seasonal menus and daily specials.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness at all times.
• Manage stock rotation and support cost control.
