SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an Italian kitchen or preparing Italian cuisine.
  • Proficient in key cooking techniques including pizza, pasta, and other Italian specialties.
  • Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mentality.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and participate in the daily preparation and cooking of dishes, focusing on authentic Italian cuisine.
  • Maintain top-quality food presentation and taste consistency.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate on menu planning and specials that align with seasonal ingredients and Italian culinary traditions.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
  • Manage stock levels, minimise food waste, and ensure proper storage of all ingredients.
  • Assist with the training and development of junior staff, promoting best kitchen practices.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
