Description
The European Studies Center (ESC) at the University of Pittsburgh is appointing a Fulbright Scholar to teach one 3-credit course in the Department of Communication as part of the scholar’s Fulbright term at Pitt. Responsibilities Teach COMMRC 1732: Special Topics in Media, an upper-level undergraduate course offered by the Department of Communication. Deliver a 3-credit, in-person course with a maximum enrollment of 25 students. Provide all instruction and course materials in English. Hold at least two in-person office hours per week to support enrolled students. Pursue research activities either in person or virtually, according to the scholar’s preference and project needs. Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Communication, Media Studies, or a related discipline. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
Responsibilities
The Fulbright Scholar will teach an upper-level undergraduate course in the Department of Communication. They will also provide instruction and support to students through office hours and pursue research activities.
