Assist Italian-speaking clients with the end-to-end management of their shipping orders, including booking confirmations, amendments, and cancellations in line with company procedures. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to delayed, damaged, or missing shipments, escalating complex cases to the appropriate freight operations team when necessary. Liaise effectively with internal logistics, operations, and warehousing departments to ensure the seamless flow of information and the swift resolution of customer concerns. Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and shipping transactions within the company's CRM and freight management systems. Proactively communicate shipping updates, service disruptions, or regulatory changes to Italian-speaking clients to ensure transparency and build long-term customer trust. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring customer pain points and sharing actionable feedback with the wider customer service and operations teams. Native or fluent Italian language skills (both spoken and written) are absolutely essential for this role, as you will be communicating exclusively with Italian-speaking customers on a daily basis. Valid EU passport (mandatory for employment eligibility). A solid command of English is required for internal communication, reporting, and coordination with the US-based shipping operations team. Previous experience in customer service, logistics support, freight coordination, or a related shipping and freight environment is highly advantageous. Strong computer literacy with the ability to navigate CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and freight tracking tools efficiently and accurately.
