KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing agile teams, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple competing activities.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools, processes, and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles (SAFe, SCRUM, Agile, Lean, Prince2).
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams in Agile practices.
  • Understanding of User Stories and contemporary system testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Iteration Lead at ART, you’ll be at the heart of agile delivery, coordinating end-to-end squad activities to ensure successful sprint outcomes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to remove roadblocks, maintain transparency, and drive continuous improvement. This role is key to fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture aligned with ART’s strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organise and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate development team activities and ensure focus on sprint objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage product backlogs and dependencies to meet time-to-market and quality targets.
  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes.
  • Track and report team velocity, sprint progress, and resource usage in line with Agile and SAFe principles.
  • Identify and remove impediments while promoting self-management and accountability.
  • Contribute to cross-organisational planning and support project managers with reporting and risk management.
