We are looking for an Iteration Manager to join our Stores Technology team, where we are dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of our hand-held devices, optimizing inventory levels, and creating a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our in-store technology is fit for purpose and aligned with project goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders to understand our Stores teams challenges and effectively translate their requirements into user-stories for our Software Engineers.
  • Championing Agile and Scrum principles within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Providing guidance and coaching to team members on best practices.
  • Identifying and addressing impediments to team progress, promoting a solutions-oriented mindset among team members and advocating for the team within the larger technology group.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Significant demonstrable experience working in structured Agile teams as an Iteration Manager or Scrum Master and/or Technical Business Analyst, embodying Agile Scrum values of focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
  • The ability to motivate and lead teams, driving change and inspiring a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Extensive experience and a deep understanding of the Atlassian suite, primarily Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate a given problem to all levels across the business.
  • Significant experience working in a large organisation, preferably retail.
  • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output.
