Description

Infosys is seeking a versatile ITIL Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, project management, and software license management. This role involves ensuring efficient IT operations, managing projects, and overseeing software licenses to maintain compliance and optimize costs.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US

Key Responsibilities:

  • ITIL Service Management: Implement and manage ITIL processes to ensure efficient IT service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Process Owner: Ensure ITIL processes operate as intended and meet objectives.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to IT services, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • PMO (Project Management Office): Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • License Management: Oversee software license management to ensure compliance and optimize costs.
  • License Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce software licensing costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 6 years in IT service management, project management, and software license management.
  • Proficient in ITIL processes, project management methodologies, and software license management.
  • Tools: Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), project management tools (e.g., MS Project), and license management tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, PMO frameworks, and software licensing agreements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, PMP, and certifications in software license management.
