JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Divisional Principal of School and Classroom Supports, an Itinerant Educational Assistant – Special
Needs (EASN) supports students’ physical, social, academic, and behavioural well-being. An itinerant EASN introduces,
reinforces, and models life skills and positive behaviour, assists in delivering instructional programming, implements strategies
for student growth and development, and provides care and supervision of students in various schools and environments. This
position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
OR an equivalent combination of post-secondary education training and experience.
