The Team
Planning, Capability and Culture are a new team within the Directorate, whose core aim is to provide planning, capability and culture management for IT Services. The team is split into two functions: one side is dedicated to strategic planning and management of the ITS work portfolio; and the other side is dedicated to resource, capability (both at organisational and individual levels) and culture management.

Reporting into the Head of Planning, Capability and Culture, the ITS Resourcing and Capability Manager will lead the organisational capability and culture management functions for the Directorate. The postholder will ensure that IT Services has the right people, with the right skills, at the right time to enable delivery of the ITS strategy. They will also take a lead in fostering a culture that engages ITS employees and upholds an ethos of inclusion and diversity.
As this is a new role within a new function, the ITS Resourcing and Capability Manager will be leading a team that will support the Directorate to mature its resource and talent management capabilities. They will play a critical role in contributing to strategic workforce planning and developing enablement strategies to ensure fulfilment of IT Services’ goals and the University’s wider aims.
