Job Description

EDUCATION

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Engineering, Strategic Planning, Project Management or other closely related program;

EXPERIENCE

Six (6) years of managerial experience in project management, change management, risk management, or a closely related field, all of which must include supervisory experience.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

The stated desirable qualifications may be considered at the end of the selection process when candidates are referred for hiring:

  • Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification or a similar certification from a recognized industry organization such as the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Experience managing large technology projects, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Experience managing strategic planning, innovation and/or change management projects, preferably in aviation and/or technology environment.
  • Public sector experience in change management, technology implementation, risk management, including risk assessments, enterprise risk management, and/or controlled self-assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience building a team and service model to deliver strategic planning, innovation, change and risk management projects and initiatives in a public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, organizational and presentation skills and abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a large utility with significant capital investment.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office desktop applications (i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
