ITX SPECIALIST:

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an ITX Specialist for a 4.5-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Calgary office.

ITX SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ITX Specialist will be involved in the WTX/ITX project, focusing on developing, reviewing, testing, and delivering quality projects that meet business requirements. This role involves working on current platform upgrades and new developments.

ITX SPECIALIST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• At least 7 years of experience with EAI Technologies in design and development
• At least 5 years of experience with WTX 8.4 and higher or IBM Transformation Extender
• Design and development of integration solutions using WTX or IBM Transformation Extender
• Experience with Trading Manager (Message Manager and Partner Manager)
• Understanding of EDI X12 Guidelines
• Knowledge of SQL PL/SQL stored procedures
• Good communication skills for direct business interaction

ITX SPECIALIST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Migration experience in WTX or IBM Transformation Extender projects
• Knowledge of FTP, FTP(s), SFTP
• Experience with Linux OS
• Flexible to work in on-call/support rotation
• Experience with WTX/ITX Monitoring and Application Admin activities

• Gather and analyze business requirements to convert them into system requirements
• Develop project design documents and build Proof of Concepts
• Execute project development, including solution building, testing, and deployment
• Document new functionalities and educate users on application usage
• Provide application support and ensure system stability
