Description Universal Solutions International, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management System Specialist to join our team at Ft. Bragg. The principal duties of this position are: Planning, coordinating, executing, briefing, training, tracking and reporting of the IUID Marking Strategy Program. Understanding of Military Equipment. Participates in the verification of government-owned property inventories, assists in reconciliation, and prepares appropriate reports to management. Coordinates with internal customers and arrange shipment of labels to units as required. Aid with Equipment Detail Listing (EDL) requirements. Assist with IUID preparation, validation and marking of equipment to meet requirements of IUID. Requirements Must be a US citizen. Have a clean valid driver's license. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to operate gas and electric forklifts and hand trucks/pallet jacks. Familiarity in operating mobile barcode reader/IUID Hand Held Terminal (HHT). Three years of inventory/supply experience relevant to a DoD Contractor environment. Knowledge of FAR part 52.245-1 and 45, DFARS part 245 and other contract clauses impacting government property. CPPS or higher NPMA Certification. Strong computer skills to be able to query, input, and update inventory records. Ability to function within Army Logistics systems such as Global Combat Support System –Army (GCSS-A), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Force and Asset Search Tool (FAAST) and Army IUID Warehouse (AIW). Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as Word, Excel, ERPs, and cloud-based Property Management System) is a must. SECRET security clearance required.
Responsibilities
The IUID Inventory Specialist will plan, coordinate, execute, and report on the IUID Marking Strategy Program. They will also assist in the verification of government-owned property inventories and coordinate with internal customers for label shipments.
