About Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) Whole Family Health Center is a non-profit community healthcare organization serving the Treasure Coast for nearly 30 years, offering an integrated approach to healthcare, and striving to be a healthcare home for all members of the community. Position Summary The IV Infusion RN delivers high-quality infusion service including IV iron, medications, and hydration across multiple clinic sites. This role is responsible for initiating and managing IV therapy, monitoring patient responses, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with all clinical standards. The RN provides patient-centered, culturally sensitive care to a diverse population. Key Responsibilities * Perform venipuncture and peripheral IV catheter insertion. * Administer IV medications, fluids, and ordered therapies per protocol. * Assess and monitor patients for adverse reactions, intervening as needed. * Manage infusion schedules, screenings, and post-infusion observation. * Document all care and infusion details accurately in the EHR. * Ensure required consents, orders, and authorizations are in place. * Maintain infection control and safe medication handling practices. * Educate patients on infusion processes, side effects, and after-care. * Collaborate with clinic teams and support workflow across sites. * Travel to assigned WFHC locations; maintain supply and equipment readiness.   Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). * Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; infusion, emergency, or critical care preferred. * Outpatient, community health, or FQHC experience a plus. * Active Florida RN license. * BLS required; ACLS preferred. * IV therapy certification strongly preferred. Physical Requirements and Work Environment * Ability to stand or walk for long periods. * Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist patients as needed. * Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple clinic locations. * WFHC clinical settings. * Possible exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and infusion-related medications; PPE provided.   WFHC reserves the right to change or modify the job description, including but not limited to Major Responsibilities, Education, Certification, and Physical Requirements.  WFHC is an EOE.
