Thales Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) is a well established R&D and engineering centre serving major customers worldwide in Digital Identity and Security domains ranging from mobile connectivity, IoT, banking & payment to government solutions.
As an Integration Verification Validation Qualification Manager (IVVQM), you are responsible for the management of IVVQ activities in a multi-country, multi-domain, multi-site, multi-partner environment within constraints provided by the Project Manager, the Solution Architect and the Project Design Authority. You will join our expanding team in secure embedded products for MNO for mobile connectivity solutions, or major OEM customers targeted for mobile and IoT devices, in applications such as mobile payment, digital identity and IoT connectivity, as well as customers in the automotive industry that strives to connect and manage smart vehicles and their lifecycles, as well to secure and analyze their data.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience building embedded software products
  • Familiar with IVVQ principles, including functional testing, performance testing, stress testing, endurance testing, recovery testing, ad hoc testing, etc.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to present and explain technical problems, tailored appropriately for the audience
  • Experience with Software and/or Hardware development, system-level integration and Test Automation
  • Experience with common requirement management tools, e.g. JIRA, Doors
  • Experience in scrum/agile development methodologies
  • Evidence of using test tools, early verification and validation through simulation
  • Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and code management repository tools like Bitbucket
Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and implementation of product IVVQ strategy, IVVQ scope of work (hardware and software), and operational plans to deliver against this scope
  • Creation, maintenance and monitor execution of product IVVQ plans – maximizing the use of automated test methods to increase efficiencywherever possible
  • Review internally and externally generated Technical Artifacts (Requirements Specifications, Design Documentation and Architecture Documents) from an IVVQ perspective
  • Establish and maintain appropriate IVVQ metrics to support progress reporting and decision making
  • Lead and coordinate all governance reviews associated with the IVVQ phase of the product development lifecycle
  • Lead on the creation and monitor execution of product Integration and Verification Test Requirements and Schedules, including analysis of test results
  • Prepare and execution of product Integration and Verification Test at the Solution or System Context when applicable
  • Coordinate on the creation, review and acceptance of Verification Test
  • Reports from engineering teams in factory and on site tests
  • Support customer meetings, and participate in product demonstrations with key stakeholders and customers when applicable
  • Lead the collation of evidence to support population of the product compliance matrix in support of system certification
  • Ensure the proper defect and change request management application in the context of IVVQ activities, including anomalities recording
  • Provides technical guidance and architectural arbitration related to IVVQ activities and environment transversally across multiple products
