Position Overview:  Hotel Effie is seeking enthusiastic and motivated international students for a J1 Internship in the Front Office department. This program provides hands-on experience in a luxury hotel environment, offering an immersive opportunity to learn about guest services, front desk operations, and hospitality management. Key Responsibilities: * Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming check-in and check-out experience. * Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and requests to ensure a memorable stay. * Manage phone calls, emails, and other communication with professionalism and efficiency. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly. * Handle payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate records. * Address guest concerns or complaints with a positive and solutions-oriented approach. * Learn and operate the property management system efficiently. * Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities. * Assist in administrative tasks as needed, including reporting and documentation. Qualifications: * Must be eligible for a J1 Visa and meet the program requirements. * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality or related field. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. * Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor. * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment. * Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, walk, and move around the front office area for extended periods. * Occasionally required to lift or carry up to 25 pounds. * Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
