Job Details Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Midnight Job Category: Facilities Join a growing manufacturing team as a Janitorial on third shift at our Lapeer, MI CNC/Stamping facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop floor and office environment so employees can work efficiently and safely across all areas of the building. Janitorial Associates play a key part in supporting safety and productivity by upholding high standards of cleanliness throughout production, warehouse, and office spaces. Responsibilities Clean CNC and stamping shop floor, offices, restrooms, lunchroom, and other common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and operate a walk-behind floor scrubber on production and hallway floors. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from both shop floor and office areas. Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and high-traffic areas, including door handles, time clocks, and break areas. Restock and rotate cleaning and paper supplies in restrooms, office areas, and breakrooms. Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of janitorial/custodial experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods (up to 2 miles per shift) on concrete shop floors and throughout office areas. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an active shop floor environment as well as office spaces. Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings (background check, drug test, and physical). Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the CNC and stamping shop floor, offices, restrooms, and common areas. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
