From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Janitor based in Nampa, ID. The Janitorial Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean facility throughout the Plant. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls daily. Clean and disinfect restrooms on an hourly basis. Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones on an hourly basis. Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed. Empty trash and recycling bins. Clean up spills when required. Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Notify supervisors of major repairs needed. This description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education · High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred by not required. Experience 1+ years of commercial cleaning. Specialized Knowledge · Knowledge of safety guidelines when managing chemical cleaners. Skills / Abilities · Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them. Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces. Ability to lift and move fifty pounds. Good organizational skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to use basic cleaning equipment. Professional Certifications · No professional certifications required. Physical Requirements · Comfortable working in a cold environment · Push/pull/lift up to 50lbs
