Due to changes at our clients premises in Newcastle, we are looking to bring in an experienced Industrial Cleaners. This will be a full time role working 37.50 hours per week Monday - Friday with working times of 07:30am - 15:30pm.
The role is to undertake industrial cleaning and janitorial tasks across our clients site and you will be expected to keep the site cleaned to the highest standard, as per an agreed specification.
The role of janitor will also involve using a mewp or a scissor lift to complete high-level cleaning tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained (as per specification).
• To work in accordance with Company Health and Safety Procedures, adopting safe systems of work.
• To check equipment prior to use and to report defective equipment to Site Manager or Supervisors
• To report any hazardous or potentially hazardous situation to Site Manager or Supervisors
• To wear any Personal Protective Equipment issued, as required by Company policy, at all appropriate times.
• To comply with legitimate management requests and instructions.
• To take care of Company equipment and use it only for its intended purpose.
• To only operate equipment for which you have been fully trained or have been given full instructions.
• Be able to work at heights as this is will be part of the role, full training for working at heights will be provided
• To ensure that all hazardous substances are handled in a safe and responsible manner.
• To ensure “Caution” or “Wet Floor” signs are always displayed when working.
