Your Hyde Park Canadian Tire store is looking to fulfill a part time janitorial position. The janitor is responsible for keeping the store clean and orderly. Duties include cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the store. The shift is early morning so having own transportation is an asset

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides excellent customer service to all customers entering the store.
• Empties exterior and interior garbage bins, including in bathrooms.
• Cleans the windows.Cleans the office floors, dusts desks and empties garbage and recycle bins.
• Cleans locker and staff room floors, countertops/sinks, appliances and sitting area.
• Disinfects and cleans the washrooms including stalls, mirors, walls, toilets, floors and sink area
• Complies with company, store and department policies.
• Uses cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
• Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations. Reports any observed or potential hazards immediately.
• Communicates supply needs to management.
• Ensures all cleaning equipment is maintained regularly.
• Removes snow from front entrance and exit and emergency exits.
• Completes other tasks, as required.
