Job Description Job Title: Janitor Position Summary: Responsible for cleaning buildings and keeping office areas clean by performing the following duties. Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Friday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned. Clean buildings by emptying trash, cleaning surfaces, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors Clean and disinfect office equipment Sanitize high touch surfaces Steam-clean carpets as needed Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Mix various cleaning agents Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants Move heavy equipment and furniture Identify and report possible repairs Stock all toilet paper and paper towel dispensers Stock and maintain supply rooms Follow all health and safety regulations, understand potential chemical hazards Identify and report possible repairs Other Duties Maintains regular and consistent job attendance. Proven working experience as a Janitor Ability to handle heavy equipment The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
