Description

General Purpose: Responsible for completing all janitorial duties as assigned. Essential Functions: · Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures · Clean, Dust, and wipe furniture: Sweep, Mop or vacuum floors: empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers: empty and clean all ash trays and refill restroom dispensers. · Use and maintain vacuums, brooms mops and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls , carpets, furniture, etc. · Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. USE AS DIRECTED. · Move furniture, equipment , supplies and tools on an incidental basis Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: · General Janitorial experience · Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. · Ability to lift at least 30lbs Scope of Responsibility & Positions Supervised: · Works with Minimal Supervision Special Working Conditions: · Electrical Equipment · Work in dirty and dusty environments · Bending/ Squatting is required throughout the day while mopping, dusting sweeping, vacuuming , etc.
